Governor Makinde Commissioning Saki Township Roads

The Oyo state number one man, Governor Oluwaseyi Makinde will soon commission Saki township roads constructed by his administration in the state.

According to the Governor during his birthday celebration in Saki, he said, "A promise made is a promise kept". Adding that he pledged to the electorate that the Saki township roads will be constructed to aid agricultural production and other economic activities in the state and this he has brought to a reality to further expand the purchasing power of the people and also reduce the level of poverty in the state.

Governor Makinde stated that the essence of governance is to provide basic amenities to the people and further introduce innovations that will attract democracy dividends to their doorsteps.

The Governor added that his administration will not leave any stone unturned as legacy projects will be spread across all the local governments in the state to redefine good governance to the electorate.

He also spoke on several other projects which are being undertaken by his administration in all the sectors of the state which include transportation; stating that the construction of the road is to improve the transportation sector, including the rehabilitation of the Airport in Ibadan which will attract investors into the state.

He pleaded to the people of the state to extend maximum cooperation to his administration for him to bring to reality his blueprint for the people of the state.
